Why choose a Photo Tour?
Photo Tours Italia can increase your visual awareness, heighten your photographic skills and bring you closer to the people and culture of Italy. Our photo tours are like condensed field seminars in the techniques of editorial, documentary and fine art photography. You will learn how to read the ambient light, compose images and choose the right lens. Our classroom is the country of Italy, arguably the most beautiful country on Earth.

What else can be expected from Photo Tours Italia?
Our tours engage with the locals as much as possible. Photography is a social endeavor and learning how to respectfully approach people of different cultures is an important part of photography.

What equipment is recommended?
Any camera can take great photographs and is applicable to our tours, however, we recommend the following equipment:

Digital or film cameras with interchangeable lenses including wide, medium and long focal lengths, or a singular wide to long focal length zoom lens.
Cameras with manual focus, manual shutter speed and manual aperture are recommended but not necessary.
Tripod
Camera carrying backpack
Suitable clothing and good walking shoes

What type of tours and how many people per tour?
Photo Tours Italia has two principle tours; Walking tours and a mobile tours. Tours can be for individuals, small groups up to seven people, or large tour groups. Exclusive small tours for couples or related groups are offered. See tours page.
